We aren't huge followers of ABC's popular dancing competition series, Dancing with the Stars, but occasionally the cast is such that we can't help but watch with morbid fascination. When this season's lineup of celebrity contestants was first revealed, we were shocked, appalled, and slightly amused to find that Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak would be hitting the dance floor. Having had an integral role in shaping one of the world's most prominent computer manufacturers, Wozniak is the last person we were expecting to see on a television series…dancing.

Although Wozniak certainly fills all of the necessary criterion for the show (slightly famous and practically unemployed), we weren't sure what inspired him to sign on as a competitor in the series. Nevertheless, before "The Woz" makes his dance floor debut in March, ABC is revving up the ninth season with new cast photos.

Pictured above is Wozniak and his assigned dancing partner Karina Smirnoff for their first-ever promotional picture. All jokes and Woz's disturbing silky, pink shirt aside, he does look quite natural in that pose. Perhaps, in addition to being a computer geek, Wozniak is an unsung dancing guru; I guess we'll just have to wait in see when the show debuts on March 9.
