"7th Heaven"'s David Gallagher is all grown up! you could possibly have spotted him most recently in J.J. Abram's "Super 8," but we bet you already know him selected as among the the adorable youthful Camden siblings. And now he's ready to hold over a quite unique role, joining the vampires, werewolves, witches (and now ghosts!) of "The Vampire Diaries" as Ray Sutton, a werewolf who consists of a not-so-friendly work in with Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

David will only be sticking around for the first two episodes of "The Vampire Diaries", and while we're not sure exactly what fate (if any) he meets, we've got a feeling it'll end up with a ripped out heart or something equally gruesome (can't expect anything less from Klaus, right?).   The news comes on the heels of the first "the Vampire Diaries dvd set picture (which features Nina Dobrev in some especially eye-catching attire) tweeted by Matt Davis.  As dedicated "7th Heaven" fans who still remember him as little brother Simon (who, if we remember correctly, went through some awkward bad boy teen years), we're eager to see his transformation into a werewolf.
