We're big fans of the Beeb's top spy drama, Spooks, but the real MI5 haven't always agreed.
Ex-MI5 boss Dame Stella Rimington has publicly denounced the series for it's lack of realism, but it seems something might have changed her mind.
Spooks' production company Kudos have confirmed that Dame Stella is in talks to join the Spooks team as an adviser, following her criticism that the show's plots have become too far-fetched.
BBC bosses are hoping that the former spymaster can add a touch of realism.
She said: "I have always made it clear that I felt the programme had little to do with real life.
Dame Stella Rimington"Now I have had an approach from the programme makers asking if I would like to advise them.
"Presumably, they feel I could make Spooks more realistic. As things stand, just three people seem to save the world in each episode."
We're all for art representing true life, but let's hope that realism doesn't equal boring.
