Last week eight prisoners escaped from jail via underground sewers. Two were killed and one was captured, leaving five on the loose. Horatio was given a heads-up that some of them were targeting a certain "red-headed detective" for retribution. H's reply was, of course, "bring it on." One of the escapees is the man who murdered Horatio's wife and who is threatening to kill again.

If Nora had a nickel for every time she gave one of her kids advice — whether they wanted it or not — she'd be...even wealthier than she already is. But the point is she's not afraid to speak her mind, so when a radio producer approaches her about hosting a show to dole out her motherly pearls of wisdom, she may wind up getting paid after all. Of course, even Nora should be surprised when her chief competition at the audition is a woman (Debra Monk) who might be more opinionated than she is. — Joe Friedrich
