It's been a long time coming—the entire season, it seems—but the girls on The Girls Next Door are finally catching up with the girls in the real world. Anyone that follows this show already knew that Kendra had left Hef and was getting married to a football player. And you may have already heard that Bridget will be hosting her own Travel Channel series. And surely you were aware that Holly was dating illusionist Criss Angel. Well, if you didn't know this, now that you've seen "Transitions, Parts 1 and 2," you're finally clued in to at least two of those things.
This two-part season finale started with Kendra telling her mother and grandmother that she had decided to leave Hef and the mansion and move in to her own place. Kendra's mom reacted to this news as if it with the worst thing her daughter could possibly choose to do. For once in my life, I felt sorry for Kendra. Here she was making a difficult decision, choosing to leave the safety and comfort of the mansion to finally, for the first time in her life, move forward on her own. Most parents would applaud this type of independence, but Kendra's mother tried to convince her daughter to remain a kept woman.
