For five seasons Dexter dvd boxset, Dexter Morgan - the main character in the success of Showtime's "Dexter"- has managed to become a likable serial killer. That may be due in large part to his strict code of only killing people who themselves are murderers.

Dexter (Michael C. Hall) ended the fourth season in despair. His wife Rita was murdered, and he was the chief suspect. Although he is exonerated, he is thrust in the spotlight, making it more difficult to keep up his guise as a mild-mannered lab technician and attracting the attention of his co-worker Joseph Quinn (Desmond Harrington).

Meanwhile, Dexter stumbles across a new target. A group of young women have been turning up dead, and it is up to him and one of the girls who escaped, Lumen (Julia Stiles), to track down the man responsible.

The sixth season of "Dexter" is premiered in October, but until then, fans of the show to collect similar series, including "Rescue Me" and "Burn Notice".
