Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced The Boys Are Back which stars Clive Owen, Laura Fraser, and Emma Booth. The film drama will be available to own from the 26th January, and should retail at around $29.99. The film itself will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The only extra material will be 2 featurettes ("The Boys Are Back: A Photographic Journey", "A Father and Two Sons, On Set").
Plot Summary:
Based on the memoir by Simon Carr, this story of fatherhood set in South Australia. When the wife of sports-writer Joe Warr dies of cancer, he takes on the responsibility of raising their 6-year-old son, and his teenage son from a previous marriage. As Joe rejects the counsel of his mother-in-law and other parents, he develops his own philosophies on parenting. Despite this, he struggles to keep his family together, while his sons are just as confused as him.
