Smon Cowell's 50th birthday bash took place on Saturday night – and it was certainly an eventful party. The theme for the night was, rather bizarrely (but not really surprisingly), Simon Cowell himself, and there were pictures of the music mogul everywhere. Even the waiting staff on the night wore Simon Cowell masks, and Topshop boss Sir Phillip Green had arranged for a 30ft image of Simon to be projected up the front of the 18th century mansion where the party was held. Entertainment came in the form of performances from Leona Lewis and Westlife, plus a hologram of Frank Sinatra singing New York, New York. The boozing went on until well into the early hours of Sunday morning, and guests including Cheryl Cole, Dannii Mongue, David Hasselhoff, Louis Walsh, Myleene Klass, Sharon Osbourne, Ant and Dec, Dermot O'Leary, David Walliams and James Corden all looked rather worse for wear as they headed home.
