"Desperate Housewives " star Ricardo Chavira was arrested by cops on suspicion of drunken driving significantly less than a mile from the Universal Studios set of his hit display.

Chavira, who plays Eva Longoria's misbehaving ex-con hubby on the lengthy-running ABC series, allegedly lower off a police motor vehicle and failed a field sobriety examination all around two:twenty a.m. Tuesday.
