Disney really is an optimistic cartoon that has the ability to adapt Anderson tragedy literally into happy ending. I am not meaning it is improper because everyone including the children wish the prince and princess in Disney cartoon DVDs to live happily together.
Once I had the privilege of been to Hong Kong Disneyland, even though it is the smallest in the world, I do feel the genuineness fairy-tale charm which brought by the Disney. I still remembered the naive rhetoric that if I were not happy, I would buy a Disney ticket to watch the humorous Disney Animated on DVDs for a whole day.
Back to the film, the director have changed a lot on the original version. In the whole story, witch not only want to intend the Ariel's voice but also the entire underwater kingdom. Hence all the stories are not just a pure romance cartoon film but a worthy looking movie which mixed with conspiracy, power, trading and some of the incompatibility impurities to fairy tales. Maybe that is the reason why this Disney movies DVD are available to every age of fans. While the end is still very childish, the Little Mermaid did not become a sea of foam, but married with the prince in the garden.
Speaking of marriage, I had something to say. Forgive me for the jumping thinking. Almost all the fairy tales are ending with the marriage of prince and princess and then not any more about them hence this maybe an illusion to children that marriage means to the ending of life.
