Russell Brand might be about to take a part in Pirates Of The Caribbean 4. The controversial comedian has been linked with a casting call that might see him play Captain Jack Sparrow's long-lost brother.
After a bout of rumours were denied by Russell Brand, the actor/ comedian has finally admitted that he's being considered for a not-unsubstantial role in the next Pirates movie.
"There's been some talk of doing a Pirates movie," Brand told Access Hollywood.
"But I've got eight other things to do, including Get Him To The Greek with Judd Apatow. So I Don't know if there'll be time to be a pirate. I've got enough of that in me private life!"
Get Him To The Greek is a spin-off from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, in which Brand played a supporting role as a wild Brit rockstar. The all-new story concerns a young insurance adjuster, who must ensure Brand's rocker finds safe passage from London to LA for a gig at The Greek theatre. Judd Apatow is once again producing.
Brand has appeared in several Hollywood hits, including the Adam Sandler vehicle Bedtime Stories.
Disney announced production on a new Pirates movie late last year, explaining that the plot will feature Deep as Jack Sparrow once more, this time as he searches for the fabled Fountain Of Youth. ( Quoted from sky.com)
