HBO was the biggest winner of 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, August 29 and thus its after-party was the most sought destination. Held at The Pacific Design Center immediately after the awards ceremony, the event saw the attendance of not only the network's stars but also from other networks.
Newlyweds Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin attended the party despite "True Blood" upset in Best Drama category. Paquin traded her train gown with a little black dress for the occasion while Moyer remained intact in his tuxedo. Their co-star Alexander Skarsgard who presented with them during the Emmys, was not spotted at the venue but Sam Trammell and Ashley Jones were.
Winners Claire Danes and Al Pacino celebrated their victories with people close to them. Danes posed with the real-life Temple Grandin whom she portrayed in the HBO telepic while Pacino who won Outstanding Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie through his role in "You Don't Know Jack" was accompanied by girlfriend Lucila Sola.
The HBO stars who didn't walk the red carpet earlier in the evening but came to party are Thomas Jane, Jerry Ferrara, Chloe Sevigny and Anne Heche. The party was not closed up strictly to HBO stars for Jim Parsons, Rashida Jones, Kate Walsh, Padma Lakshmi and many more also attended the star-studded bash.
HBO continued its streak as the winning network at the Emmys when it took 25 nods this year via "Temple Grandin" and "The Pacific" among others. The network has been in the leading position in the past 11 years.
