From the opening scene of the episode of this week's "True Blood," when Bill's lackey Katy tells Marnie-Antonia (Mantonia?) how to get out and is strangled for her efforts, it's a bit of a blood bath.
After Marnie hightails it out of Castle Bill, Luis walks in and informs him that Antonia Gavilán of Logroño has returned. Then he shoots the king. A struggle ensues and Luis ends up pulling a stake into himself but not before warning Bill that Antonia is bringing a "resurrection."
Across Bon Temps, Pam has cornered Tara and Naomi in the Merlotte's parking lot and is taking her sweet time deciding which one to kill first. She should have been a bit more decisive, because before she can slaughter either of the ladies a crowd gathers, cell phones firmly in hand, remarking that there's a reward for any footage of a vampire killing a human. Pam, who’s either scared to be filmed killing or is just shy on camera because of her rotting face, backs off but warns Tara that she will come for her when she least expects it.
This leads the girls to the inevitable conversation about getting the hell out of town. Naomi wants to go and Tara, in what is either a noble or completely dimwitted move, says she has to stay and that Naomi has to scram. "Everyone who has ever been with me has ended up dead in True Blood dvd," Tara says. "I'm asking to stay," Naomi shoots back. Not a good idea, Naomi, we all shout at the television in unison. She hears us (or just comes to her senses) and takes off for New Orleans, most likely never to be heard from again.
