Nick Jonas is possibly one of the nicest guys in the music industry, but for his physical appearance on ABC's "Mr. Sunshine" on Wednesday night (February 16), the pop star had to get his jerk on, taking part in the ultra-demanding rock star Eli, who gives Matthew Perry's character an operate for his income on the new sitcom.

"It was actually fun to stretch my personality a bit whilst doing the 'Mr. Sunshine' cameo. I was taking part in a jerk named Eli, and he's sort of like a rock-star man who pushes out a jerk mindset to compensate the simple fact that he's genuinely insecure about a great deal of points — truly related to me, " he joked to MTV News about the cameo. "And Matthew Perry's naturally a legend. It was so cool to function with him and soak up as a lot as I could."

Jonas mentioned he received the contact from the Television star himself asking if he wished to make a cameo on the show. Jonas explained he is a big fan of the previous "Friends" star. "I usually watched it growing up when it was on, and I've got a whole lot of pals who are die-hard 'Friends' supporters, but I did watch the present, and I'd have to say he was my favorite character on the show."

When asked what "Friends" character he felt that he related to most, the 18-year-old mentioned he is the Chandler Bing of his circle of friends. "I would absolutely be like him," he said, ahead of explaining that he hopes he's a bit like Perry as well. "He's the gentleman. I would hope that I was like him. I mean, he's quite proficient in genuine lifestyle and has so much to give."
