Nick Cave and Neko Case have collaborated on a cover of The Zombies' classic 'She's Not There' for vampire drama True Blood.

The duet has been recorded for the very first episode of the forthcoming series of the popular US present. The new version of the song will shut the episode, which shares its identify with the 1964 song. The show will kick off the fourth time of the sequence in the US on June 26, reviews Billboard.

The programme's songs supervisor, Gary Calamar, spoke about the collaboration yesterday (May four) at the Musexpo conference in Los Angeles. "You always want to serve the show, but in the back again of my brain I'm usually considering about the soundtrack," he said, incorporating that the script asked for Santana's edition of the song to be utilized, which he overruled in favour of the Cave and Case edition. "The key to a great soundtrack is having band new recordings."
