The Marvel Super Hero Squad is coming to Cartoon Network. Variety reports that Marvel has partnered with the popular cable channel for their upcoming new animated series, which is aimed at a younger audience and features lighthearted portrayals of many Marvel heroes and villains, including a core team consisting of Iron Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Falcon, Thor and Silver Surfer.
The first season of Marvel Super Hero Squad will consist of 26 episodes and debut in late 2009. Variety also has announced some of the voice cast for the series, which includes Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants), Charlie Adler (Transformers), Steve Blum (Wolverine and the X-Men) and Grey Delisle (The Fairly OddParents).
