Katy Perry is set to hit the small screen in the U.K. - she's in talks with producers to front her own show. The "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker, whose funnyman fiance Russell Brand hails from Britain, is currently in negotiations with chiefs at the ITV2 network.
Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, channel controller Zai Bennett says, "Katy is a target for us currently. She's brilliant, a bulls-eye person. We are talking to her management about various shows." Perry made her judging debut on British TV show "The X Factor" on Saturday night, August 28.
However, the show might not be a reality franchise as Bennett doubts this hypothetical show will be an "observational documentary." Perry will also lend her voice for upcoming movie "The Smurfs".
