The Office is being given the coveted post-Super Bowl slot this year – as close as any show gets to a guarantee in increased ratings, albeit just for one night. The episode is already a special one-hour edition, but now EW.com's Michael Ausiello reports they'll also be some notable guest casting as well.
Jack Black will be appearing on the Super Bowl episode it turns out, and while it's not clear what role the School of Rock star will play, it will certainly be a notable one. Ausiello does know Black will definitely not be playing himself. The episode will center on Dunder Mifflin's staff roasting Michael Scott (Steve Carell).
