Grey's Anatomy dvd boxset fans are waiting to know what happens next for April Kepner on this series. It was just this week that Shonda Rhimes revealed the character would indeed lose her virginity this season. Her virginity at the age of twenty-eight has become a major focus of the character's plot.

But,there is news from the personal life of the actress that plays April that might make things interesting in the months to come.The actress behind April Kepner, was expecting her first child. Drew took to her Twitter on Wednesday night to say the following:"Thanks for all the congrats messages! We are super excited."

Drew and her husband Peter Lanfer have been married since 2002. While this news is great for Sarah Drew and her husband, it might pose a problem for Grey's Anatomy 1-7 dvd. April is still a virgin on the series. Will April quickly lose her virginity and wind up pregnant because of it? Or will Grey's Anatomy once again use creative camera angles and less screen time for Sarah Drew like it did when Ellen Pompeo and Jessica Capshaw were expecting. Neither had their pregnancies written into the series.

However, this time it might be different. With plans already underway for April to sleep with someone, an unexpected pregnancy line could fit this character. It would make things complicated with April just take the post of Chief Resident at Seattle Grace as well. And,the producers have not yet decided if the pregnancy will be written in or not.
