Moviemaker Phillip Noyce had sleepless nights ahead of big action sequences for his action film "Salt" because his star, Angelina Jolie, insisted on doing all her own stunts.
The director admits the actress' love of action made him nervous, because, if anything went wrong, he'd be the man people held responsible for injuring one of the world's leading ladies.
He says, "Personally, a lot of the stuff she did in this (movie) I would've preferred to do bluescreen. She was often suspended up to 10 storeys high and she'd leap from vehicle to vehicle at high speeds. She doesn't have to do it, but she has absolutely no fear. Usually, when an actor becomes more and more successful, they play it safe. But that's not Angelina Jolie."
And the actress tells Entertainment Weekly magazine that's because she always wants to look cool in her kids' eyes: "The funny thing about having children is that now I am twice as motivated to do a cool stunt because my kids will like it."
