Amy Smart, who will soon be seen in Crank 2, has been cast in the lead role in ABC's new drama pilot See Cate Run.

Produced by ABC Studios, the project is about a young prosecuting attorney who "one day is going to be a serious contender for president of the U.S.", according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Formerly titled I, Claudia, the See Cate Run pilot will be directed by Dean Parisot.
