DOWNTON ABBEY DVD Plot

The series is set in the fictional Downton Abbey, stately home of the Earl and Countess of Grantham, and follows the life of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants at the beginning of the reign of King George V. The series covers the two years preceding the Great War, commencing with news of the sinking of the Titanic, an event that sets the story in motion.

Everything is excellent on Downton Abbey. It has humor, drama, intrigue, great story and great cast.The story is about the same tital Downton says Abbey. Aristocratic family, the mother and father and their three daughters, and about 20 employees, who live there. Of course you can only imagine all the different goings-on with 25 people living and working in the same huge house, in combination with all the residents around the house, and in the village.I watched the program on television twice before I bought my own dvd boxset.
