But what makes 24 so effective is the superb acting of Kiefer Sutherland, who is in a word, masterful as Jack Bauer. He portrays Bauer as the gritty consummate professional, who would do just about anything to get the job done, even if it means walking the fine line of good and evil. Well done so far.The pacing is steadier and more consistent than it's been yet. Not boringly so, however. Good characters -- Jack Bauer and Chloe O'Brien are still great. Good plot turns in the the final third of the 24 hours, especially with President Logan returning to create havoc. Can't wait to get it on DVD, become addicted.
