December 12, 2008 - According to Variety, a certain Gilmore Girls star is yearning to return to TV primetime. Yes, Lauren Graham has a new comedy in development with ABC. Graham will be playing a "self-help guru who teaches women how to live a stress-free life -- but struggles to follow her own advice when her boyfriend dumps her."

This sounds a bit like other shows that star women as matchmakers or wedding planners that can't find love for themselves. However, if it involves Graham really going off the deep end, it could be good. Plus, one of the producers of the show is Arrested Development's Mitch Hurwitz – and he's been known to make funniness happen. The Exec Producer is Will & Grace's Alex Herschlag.
Graham herself will also be a producer on the show. I don't know if that's necessarily good, but she was in Bad Santa and that counts as an unofficial "point for Graham."
