LL Cool J leads off a wild pack of casting news for this Wednesday. Apparently, the Kangol'd rapper is set to star in the NCIS spin-off. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he will play "Special Agent Sam Hanna, a former Navy SEAL who works in the undercover unit of NCIS in Los Angeles." Chris O'Donnell (Batman Forever) is rumored to be in talks for one of the lead roles on that show as well.
Lipstick Jungle, and former 90210 star Lindsay Price has been cast in the new Witches of Eastwick pilot for ABC, which definitely sends us mixed signals about the fate of Lipstick Jungle, which still has yet to be officially cancelled. Eastwick will follow three young witches who come into their powers. Price will "play one of them, Joanna, a hardworking, shy reporter for the local newspaper." Jamie Ray Newman has already been cast in one of the other leads roles.
An actor from Swingtown is making his way over to play one of the leads in The CW's reboot of Melrose Place. And no, it's not Grant show, who was an original Melrose player. Rady, who will "play Jonah Miller, a cute and quirky 25-year-old aspiring filmmaker who makes his living as a videographer of weddings and bar mitzvahs for the rich and famous after moving to Los Angeles with his fiancée a year ago."

Angel's Amy Acker, who can currently be seen in a reoccuring role on Dollhouse, has been added to the cast of ABC's Happy Town, a small-town murder mystery, where she will play the wife of the lead, cop Tommy Conroy (Geoff Stults).
