Jennifer Aniston will be there for Courteney Cox — on Cougar Town.

The actress will guest-star on the Season 2 premiere of the ABC sitcom, the network announced Monday. Aniston will be the second Friends alum to appear on Cox's show, following Lisa Kudrow, who played a dermatologist last season.

Aniston will play Bonnie, a shrink Jules (Cox) sees, who is "kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist," executive producer Bill Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly.

"Those guys are so close in real-life they kind of do that for each other anyway," he adds. "Bonnie has the life Jules wishes she has."

This will mark the second time Aniston and Cox have worked together since Friends ended in 2004. Aniston guest-starred — and kissed Cox — on Cox's FX series Dirt in 2007.
